COPENHAGEN WEEKEND

COPENHAGEN WEEKEND (travel inspiration)

Visit the world’s happiest people! ”World-conquering urban quality of life requires the trickiest of balancing acts between progress and preservation, stimulation and security, global and local. Perfection is unobtainable but Copenhagen is striking one of the best deals right now.” According to Monocle Magazine, Copenhagen is the most liveable city in the world 2013. Here you find world class architecture, art, fresh sea food and green restaurants, fabulous shopping, design and friendly people. From your hotel located in the city centre you will have all this within reach!

Add a bike tour, a guide tour in rickshaw to your package and create your own unforgettable city experience!

Your package includes 3 nights in a centrally located 4* hotel, Scandinavian buffet breakfasts and the Copenhagen card 48h giving you free access to 75 museums and the public transportation of the Danish capital. When visiting Copenhagen you will notice one thing in particular. Practically everybody rides a bike. To school, work and out for a night on the town – in sun, rain or snow. We love bikes!

As an option to this package you can choose to add a bike tour or a guided tour on rickshaw!

When you visit Copenhagen, shopping should definitely be on your to-do list. Not many places can boast of having so many mid-priced shops with modern, high quality fashion. Danish design is a big part of this. Designers such as Mads Nørgaard, Rützou and DAY have been around since the 90s, and to this day make wearable clothes of great materials. And new designers such as Henrik Vibskov, Stine Goya, Soulland, Wood Wood and Peter Jensen are all internationally renowned for their more avant-garde and humorous take on fashion.

Ranking among the top ten fashion centres in the world and a cool no. 1 in Scandinavia, Denmark has gradually risen to a high level of fashion consciousness with the designers and shops to match.
